Julian Assange Granted Bail But Loses Wikileaks To Rich Celebrities: Photos

by | 14th, December 2010

JULIAN Assange, of Wikileaks, has been granted bail. Now that he is famous, the donors putting up £200,00 surety for his bail are other famous people: Bianca Jagger, Jemima Khan, John Pilger and Ken Loach, are likely candidates who all arrived to show their support. The famous like to support their own.

Then Michael  Moore went one better and like a desktop officer from the new war instructed one and all to mass outside Westminster Court. He can’t make it but you can:

“If you’re reading this in London, please go support Julian Assange and WikiLeaks at a demonstration at 1 PM today, Tuesday the 14th, in front of the Westminster court.”

Cheers, Mike. Thanks for letting us know. Moore and his fellow donor celebs are the self-appointed imperial masters of truth and protectors of justice, an elite cabal of rich liberals who want to show off and hang with the cool kids. No need for secrecy when you have celebrities grandstanding their worthiness.

Take their money, Julian – but as you do know that with it goes your independence. Your politics is now their politics. Wikileaks has just become another media organ with celebrity columnists and a clubby atmosphere.

And you, dear reader…  Well, your name is not on the list. You’re not getting in…
