Julian Assange Plays To A Thrilled Crowd: Photos And Off To Ellingham Hall
JULIAN Assange, Mr Wikileaks, is free from prison. He is now in Ellingham Hall on bail. There he is able to entertain friends, journalists, celebrities, grandstanders, chancers, happy couples (it’s a wedding venue), journalists, agent provocateurs and Michael Moore (it’s a matter of time, readers) at his custodian Vaughan Smith’s Georgian pile. Assange was driven off in Smith’s old armoured Land Rover. It was all good stagey stuff.
“It’s great to smell the fresh air of London,” said Assange. And Londoners eyeing the visible air snorted to suppress a chuckle.
And the best bit about it is that the world’s number one news guy is in the UK.
