SCARE Story of the Year for 2011 is that swine flu is coming to get you and you kids.

The Independent yells from its front page:

Swine flu: is it too late to vaccinate?

Well…

Warning that jab may no longer prevent infection

Yes.

The Mail leads with:

“NOW GPS RUN OUT OF FLU VACCINE”

Well, it’s too late for the jab to work anyhow, maybe. Although you can buy it at Tesco’s.

The press also have a face of the illness. The Mirror reports:

Healthy Martin Clorley, 37, fell ill two days after he married Nicola Bartley, 39, on December 16. He died on Boxing Day.

Tragic. But there has been no post-mortem.

Swine flu is preventable. There are vaccines. But if you rad the papers, you are already as good as dead…
