Jared Lee Loughner: Sarah Palin Must Die

by | 10th, January 2011

GABRIELLE Giffords: In the rush to blame Sarah Palin’s crosshairs and rhetoric for Jared Lee Loughner’s murderous spree in Arizona, the media has overlooked one thing: the killer hated Gifford before Palin had ever become a force in US politics.

Palin is the woman of whom Erik Sean Nelson wrote in the Huff Post:

She said that the “world needs more Trigs, not fewer.” That’s a presidential campaign promise we can all get behind. She will be the first politician to actually try to increase the population of retarded people

Sarah Plain is a “M.I.L.P” – Mother I’d Like to Punch.

How they hate Sarah Palin.

This letter is what police found in the killer’s home. Loughner had met Giffords at the 2007 “Congress on Your Corner” gig:

Writers like Andrew Sullivan have little time to mention Obama’s call for guns and the violent rhetoric of the left, when raping a teenager is a joke.

This is what Sarah Palin said in what Sullivan calls her stream-of-consciousness:

To the teams that desire making it this far next year: Gear up! In the battle, set your sights on next season’s targets! From the shot across the bow – the first second’s tip-off – your leaders will be in the enemy’s crosshairs, so you must execute strong defensive tactics. You won’t win only playing defense, so get on offense!

The crossfire is intense, so penetrate through enemy territory by bombing through the press, and use your strong weapons – your Big Guns – to drive to the hole. Shoot with accuracy; aim high and remember it takes blood, sweat and tears to win. Focus on the goal and fight for it.

If the gate is closed, go over the fence. If the fence is too high, pole vault in. If that doesn’t work, parachute in. If the other side tries to push back, your attitude should be “go for it.” Get in their faces and argue with them. (Sound familiar?!) Every possession is a battle; you’ll only win the war if you’ve picked your battles wisely. No matter how tough it gets, never retreat, instead RELOAD!

A reader replies to that:

It’s not just a random post proving that she can’t even talk about sports without discussing over-the-top violence. Rather, she purposefully, and sarcastically, filled the post with as much battle imagery as possible to show that the type of metaphors she had been using in her political rhetoric — and that she was being criticized for in the press and in the blogosphere — are in fact commonplace in sports lingo.

Shoot!

And Palin can laugh at herself. Also on Facebook, she notes:

My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – fromthe FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…

Of course, the paragraph above is based on a series of misstatements and verbal gaffes made by Barack Obama (I didn’t have enough time to do one for Joe Biden).

Back at the killer’s place:

Other evidence seized from his home included an envelope from a safe with messages such as ”I planned ahead,” ‘’My assassination” and the name “Giffords” next to what appears to be Loughner’s signature.

This hackneyed conversation about Palin makes the murder of six people easy to understand for they who already hate Caribou Barbie…
