Archbishop Luciano Storero’s Letter To Irish Bishops: Tell No-One About The Paedophile Priests
IN 1997, the Vatican’s Archbishop Luciano Storero sent a missive to to Ireland’s bishops. In it he told them not to tell the police about any sexual abuse. They should tell no secular authorities. Having sex with children is Church business. If you know what’s good for your career, keep it under your mitre.
They were nothing if not obedient.
And who was in charged of the Vatican at the time? Why, it was John Paul II. And he’s well on his way to becoming a saint…
