After The Manchester Bomb Exploded This Video Was Taken
ON June 15, 1996, an IRA bomb went off in Manchester. It went off outside Marks and Spencer on Corporation Street. Hundreds were injured. No-one died. Whoever did got away. Retired police officer Ian Mack, 60, filmed the devastation from a police van.

Millennium Commissioner Michael Heseltine at Manchester Town Hall today (Thursday) with a model of the proposed "Millennium Quarter" which has been offered a Millennium Commission grant of 20 million. The money will provide half the cost of an ambitious redevelopment of the part of Manchester's city centre which was devasted by the explosion of an IRA bomb two years ago.
