Police.co.uk Creates New Ordnance Survey Map Of Crime

GLOVERS Street in Preston is the place to go if you want to commit a crime to blend in. It is the most crime-ridden street in England and Wales – the location for 150 offences in December 2010 alone.

The source for this fact is www.police.uk, a site allows you to see the offences reported in your local street by entering a street name or postcode.

The result will be the Ordnance Survey map, with hostels replaced by a symbol for muggers (a portrait of George Osborne), contours will be escape routes, and fraud will be tony Blair impaled on a steeple…
