Schizophrenic Knife Attacker Escapes Clinic To Teach German In School

by | 4th, February 2011

FOLLOWING news of the Hungarian teacher who head-butted a pupil (he was cheered by the victim’s parents) is the story of the schizophrenic who escaped from the clinic where he’d been interned for a knife attack and ended up teaching German in school.

This is the future of education and pupil control. Evey so often the authorities should release a violent prisoner into the education system. The pupils should know about it. But they must not know who the nutcase is. Is it the scyhool secretary? Is it the headmaster? Is it that new trainee teacher? All they know is that if disobeyed this educator will do unspeakable things.

As for this case, we learn that Lewis Alexander Mawhinney has been teaching German in a high school in the southern Provence town of Digne-les-Bains. He’s the 26-year-old telling his pupils that he’s a secret agent working for Scotland Yard.

In 2008, Mr Mawhinney was found not guilty but insane by a court in Belfast, on a charge of wounding a man with a knife. he is now locked up in a  psychiatric unit in Digne-les-Bains. He is expected to be sent back to Northern Ireland.

To a  school…
