Ashley Cole Shoots A Poor Student At Chelsea: John Terry Unharmed

by | 26th, February 2011

ASHLEY Cole has, allegedly, shot a man. Given his prowess in front of goal for Chelsea and England, you might suppose Cole shot and missed. But no. The NoTW says he hit Tom Cowan, a 21-year-old “student” on a work placement with Chelsea.

Cole, reportedly, was messing about with the .22 gun at Chelsea’s training ground. Cowan was 5ft away when the gun went off.

The paper says “blood [was] pouring from his side”.

In case you were uncertain where your sympathies should lie, readers are told:

On Wednesday injured Tom – who earns only a tiny fraction of Cole’s wages in his work placement role – was asked to attend a three-hour meeting with anxious Chelsea officials in the office of assistant first team coach Bruno Demichelis.

Had Cowan been paid more would the wound have hurt less? Had, say, Cole shot John Terry would it be fairer? And if shooting people who earn more than you is fairer, should bankers be afraid?

A source hammers home the point:

“And for him to shoot a young lad who’s really only a student here to learn… it’s a disgrace… Ashley is supposed to be setting an example about how professional footballers behave.”

Indeed. Why-oh-why are Chelsea hiring young lads to work in the dressing rooms when they could be employing lap dancers or glamour mo-dels? How is a student of Chelsea supposed to keep up with his course work when the curriculum keeps changing..?

Incidentally, on Tom’s Facebook page his interest is given as “women“. No word from him on the allegations yet. We’ve made contact and asked him if it was true. Will let you know…
