David Beckham’s Mission To Sell Jesus (With Free Face Cloth)

TO go with David Beckham’s bedroom eyes, is the Pope’s bedroom ceiling – Day-vid’s turned his chest into a Sistine Chapel overspill for tourists to marvel at.

The Jesus and the three cherubs on Day-vid‘s chest symbolise Himself and his three sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6.

“It’s Jesus being carried by three cherubs and obviously the cherubs are my boys and so my thought of it is that at some point my boys are going to need to look after me and that’s what they’re doing in the picture. It means a lot.”

Jesus is thought to be delighted. With the right marketing – a range of his ‘n’ hers thorns, a remodelling of the cross into something more contemporary and edgy, like a rhomboid or feature wall, and a free face cloth – Christianity can be sold to the masses.

Now, if Jesus can just sign the copyright release forms, the contract and agree to co-band the religion as Christianity In Association With David Beckham Industries, Dave can begin his missionary work with zeal…
