John Galliano’s Paris Line Is To Die Fuhrer: Video Of Jew Face Rant
JOHN Galliano is being billed as the Mel Gibson of fashion. Galliano, a man who look exactly like Colonel Gaddafi’s performance as Captain Hook at Tony Blair’s 1998 Christmas panto places his hand on his moustache curlers and says he made no anti-semitic comments in La Perle bar, Paris. He says he never called a woman a “dirty Jew face” at a bar in Paris.
A woman called Géraldine Bloch, 35, alleges Galliano eyed up her ensemble and uttered to she and her pal:
“Dirty Jewish face, you should be dead. Fucking Asian bastard, I will kill you.”
The Sun has gotten hold of video shot by someone in the bar. It says you can hear Galliano saying:
“I love Hitler.”
No, not “I love Hitler in brown – those deep chocolate tones are so now. To die for. Really. They. Are. To. Die. Fur-her. Gerrit?!”
He also said:
“People like you would be dead. Your mothers, your forefathers, would all be f****** gassed.”
At least no-one can accuse him of being a a Holocaust denier.
A woman asks if he has problem – a little problem? He replies:
“With you. You’re ugly.”
The woman ask where he is from? He replies:
Says the videographer:
“We were stunned by what Galliano was saying, but then he started making vile anti-Semitic comments. His words were disgusting. He made it clear the Italian girls weren’t welcome and should go home. This was pure racism.”
Pure racism is, of course, the best kind of racism. But is this video 100% proof of racism, or just the entertaining mutterings of an old stager before his people? Galliano is filmed back in the bar where he made his alleged racist comments. Stick a box by his feet with a slot in and invite people to insert a gold coin to hear Jolly Roger say the unsayable.
But the legals are now involved so any humour is being seeped out of the story.
Geraldine Bloch and Philippe Virgitti, 41, say they were threatened. Galliano accuses Ms Bloch and Mr Virgitti of defamation.
