WHO fancies sticking their feet in a bath of water and having little Turkish garra rufa fish nibble off the dead skin, toe jam and pus?
The Mail says the treatment (a “craze” that is “sweeping the country”) “has prompted a health warning” from “experts”.
The Health Protection Agency says the practice is the subject of a major investigation.
Or as the HPA puts it:
“The HPA and Health Protection Scotland is currently unaware of any cases of infection associated with the use of the fish spas pedicures in the UK.”
Now, it’s safe to go back in the water…
