AA Gill Is Wanted In Norfolk, Place Of ‘Dark Lusts, Incest And Idiocy’

AA Gill is the subject of a “Wanted” poster published in The Eastern Daily Press.
Gill’s crime was to have called the county “the hernia on the end of England“.
He also said:
“If Norfolk didn’t exist, we would have to make it up, and then regret it.”
And that Norfolk is a “backward place to allocate dark lusts, incest and idiocy”.
The temptation to make the poster read “NOT WANTED IN NORFOLK” was great, but calm voices realised that being banned from the place would men Gill got off lightly.
