North Korea Tells Locals To Watch Their Pets For Earthquakes

by | 21st, March 2011

NORTH Koreans are being advised to stock up on pets to see them through the hard times should an earthquake strike Kim Jong-Il’s fiefdom. These creatures are not to eat, rather they are to warn the local of impending doom.

The Rodong Sinmun newspaper says residents should “watch out for dogs barking incessantly, cattle refusing to eat or horses constantly trying to storm out of stables“.

That’s alright for the city dwellers but what about if you live in countryside?
