Policeman Killed In Omagh: Mass Murder Revisited

by | 2nd, April 2011

IN Omagh, County Tyrone, a place synonymous with sectarian extremism and mass murder, a policeman called Ronan Kerr – a 25-year-old Roman Catholic – has been killed in an under car booby trap explosion.

In August 1998 a Real IRA car bomb killed 29 people – not including two unborn children. It was the single biggest loss of life during 35 years of the Troubles.
