Radiant Kate Middleton Is Skeletal: Daily Express Undermines Daily Star Expert
KATE Middleton needs “CAKE”, declares the Daily Star.
The Star calls upon an “expert” in looking at photos of Kate Middleton and work out how thin she is. The guru is called Laura Williams, “a dieting expert who has appeared on Channel 5’s Vanessa Show”.
Williams tells the Star, owned by Richard Desmond, that Kate looks “stressed and drawn at the moment”, adding:
“She is under tremendous scrutiny and the attention could well be getting to her.”

But let us now accuse Desmond of over-egging the pudding and dictating editorial policy. The Daily Express tells us on its cover that Kate is “RADIANT”:
KATE Middleton wasn’t letting the pressure get to her yesterday as she nipped out for a spot of last-minute shopping for the second day running. She looked cool in the heatwave, calm and collected as she hit the shops in London’s fashionable Kings Road, Chelsea.
From her relaxed demeanour you would hardly guess that in little over a week, she will be under more scrutiny than we mere mortals can imagine as billions watch the Royal Wedding on TV.
And the cake?
After reports this week that she has slimmed down from a size 10 to a size 6 for her wedding day, it was good to see that her weight loss is not as drastic.
Hurrah! Although the Express’s news might not be good for the Star’s expert…
