There’s Nothing Cynical About JLS Wanting To Collaborate With Gwyneth Paltrow

BACKFLIPPING saccharine irritants and tepid pop dispensers, JLS, want to collaborate with Gwyneth Paltrow. Why? It might have something to do with the fact that she’s very famous, recently decided to become a singer, appeared warbling on an award ceremony with Cee Lo Green, married to insipid Coldplayer Chris Martin and is the talk of Tinseltown thanks to an appearance on TV smash, Glee.

Nothing cynical about that then.

Nope, the only reason JLS want to take their condom endorsing faces anywhere near Paltrow is because they’re massive fans.

Apparently, the pectoral baring boyband have loved the performances they’ve seen of her pelting out songs while displaying a pained face, and now, they want her to work on a track for their new album.

Singer Aston Merrygold said:

“She could be the lead girl on a track. It would be brilliant.”

His bandmate, Marvin Humes, added:

“She was brilliant on ‘Glee’ and wicked with Babyface too. And with Cee Lo Green.”

Perhaps JLS have an eye on getting noticed in American without having to do all that pesky touring that is often required when trying to thanklessly crack the States?

Y’see, that’s where the real money is – Hollywood! That’s why they’re also dropping massive hints that they’d like to do a soundtrack for a film, just like Take That are doing (they appear on the soundtrack to the new movie ‘X-Men: First class’)

JB joked:

“We’d like to do something similar one day. I’d like to do it for a film like ‘Gladiator’ but the other boys prefer a rom-com.”

Marvin added:

“We’re all ladies men so yeah, definitely for a rom-com.”

Christ. They’re an interesting bunch aren’t they?
