BBC Wonk Michael Crick Upstaged By Shitting Dog

by | 25th, July 2011

ALL eyes on the dog as Newsnight’s political editor Michael Crick, 53, stands before the cameras on College Green opposite the Houses of Parliament.

Molly, the five year-old collie, is a hard but fair critic.

Crick takes is badly. He approaches Molly’s owner Freya Booth, 16, and orders her to clear it up. Says she:

“He had a real go at me and said it was ‘very irresponsible to let your dog s**t in a public place like that’. And when I said I was planning to pick it up, he called me a liar. He was really angry.”

Anorak thinks Crick would have been better to have interviewed the lying turd and invited the BBC technical team to give it the caption “MP”…

Update: the girls live close by the patch of greenery that is polluted by MPs and their biased media apologists whenever they see fit to trample over it. The dog owner cleared away the poo – it having failed to clear the stench…
