Hampshire Pub Lets Drinkers Help Themselves To Booze And Crisps

by | 8th, August 2011

EAT your hearts out Tottenham looters – locals to The Perseverance pub in North Street, Havant, Hampshire, have ben helping themselves to drink and crisps. There is no broken glass and macho yelling, just an orderly line behind the bar and security in the form of a DJ. It was not ment to be like this. At 7:30pm, the landlord had left a young woman in charge. But she walked off.

A source tells us:

“The girl who was left in charge just walked out and took all the money from the till with her. It was basically a free-for-all. It was absolutely packed and people just helped themselves.”

At 9:30pm, the landlord returned and normal service was resumed.

Your see, Tottenham rioters, you don’t need to steal with extreme violence – you just need to wait…
