Tevez To Arsenal, Nasri To Manchester City And Gervinho To Bath

by | 13th, August 2011

DID you know that Arsenal have “sensationally told Manchester City: Give us Carlos Tevez and you can have Samir Nasri”?

Arsenal fans might well snort with derision at the Sun’s exclusive.

Tevez reputedly earns over £250,000 a week top play for City.

Arsenal wanted to keep Nasri and offered him an impeccable £90,000 a week. They said would go no higher. The Gunners pay structure would not allow it. So. Then City offered Nasri £185,000 for the same seven days’ toil and – shock of shocks – Nasri realised City were the team of his destiny and went for it.

And then the Sun tells the world that Arsenal are ready to pay Tevez over twice as much as Nasri was offered and forgo the £23m fee thre Frenchman would have secured them. Unless Tevez finds it his dream to play for Arsenal and takes a big drop in wages… But how likely is that..?

Meanwhile, Arsenal without Fabregas and Nasri have been playing Newscastle United. The Gunners’ new player Gervinho has been sent off. Forget the transfers, Arsenal – just focus on getting 11 players on the pitch…
