Beautiful Helen Mirren Doesn’t Like Ugly Young People Getting Plastic Surgery

by | 18th, August 2011

EVERYONE fancies Helen Mirren. Even the gayest of gay men kinda fancy her. She’s just achingly beautiful, despite being older than three Mumm-Ras.

And so, when it comes to looks, you could be forgiven for thinking that she can bugger off when it comes to judging people because she’s been blessed with a very appealing face.

But that’s what she’s doing… and it’s still impossible to hate her. Basically, she can’t understand why young people have cosmetic surgery to alter their ”pure” beauty. In fact, she thinks its “horrific”, which isn’t emotive at all.

She says:

“The only thing I don’t like on young people is plastic surgery.

“The purity of youthful beauty is so fantastic to me that it’s horrific when young girls get fake things.”

That’s something of a turnaround from what she previously said about going under the knife. In fact, she was very understanding of it.

She once said:

“You go, ‘I don’t want to look at that face anymore,’ and I understand that, absolutely. I think people should be allowed to do whatever they want to make themselves feel happy.”

Unless they’re young. What has she got against young people? Their sexiness, that’s what.

“I’m not beautiful. I was never beautiful. I just clean up nice! Sexiness is different. I don’t mind being sexy – but on my own terms. I’ve always felt very comfortable about my sexuality. Women don’t lose their sex appeal as they get older, it just moves into a different kind of arena. I don’t mean full-on sex appeal – that’s really for the young. No, it’s some kind of indeterminate thing – an appreciation of life and wisdom and other things, perhaps. There should be a special word for it.”

There you have it. Helen Mirren. Jealous of young people. What a horrible ol… oh we can’t do it. She’s still really, really great isn’t she?
