Samir Nasri Sticks Knife Into Arsenal Fans: Manchester City’s New Boy Shows His Intelligence
FOUR players have left Arsenal for the richer pastures of Manchester City in recent seasons. The latest is Samir Nasri. Want to know what he said upon arrival? Here goes:
“Arsenal have good fans but not that passionate since they moved from Highbury. City fans are really passionate. When we played against City, the crowd was amazing. That’s what I want.”
Gilles Grimandi is Arsenals chief scout in France. He secured Nasri’s passage from Marseilles to The Gunners. He;s what he had to say of Nasri:
The way he has managed his career and made decisions is very impressive. He knows where he wants to go, he’s focused on that and no-one can change his mind.
If Arsenal knew that why did it take the club so long to sell Nasri and let him run down his contract?
