Local resident Mark Snow stages a protest from within the branches of a beech tree in the village of Irton, Scarborough to stop the council from carrying out a court order to cut it down. Snow has become an unexpected hero with some villagers in Irton, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, who have been battling for five years against plans to remove the tree.
