100 Year Old Clare Ormiston Spanks The Care Home Stripper
FOR her 100th birthday present, Birmingham lass Clare Ormiston got a stripper. It’s what she wanted. Well, her first choice was a “seat on the moon”, but building rockets takes time.
The Birmingham Mail tells us how it came about:
Matron Barbara Hancock organised the bash as part of a programme she runs at the home to make sure residents get the birthday wish they want, but also one that will reinvigorate the recipient.
Barbara said the idea was put to her by Clare during a bedside conversation about her birthday which had also involved some of Clare’s close relatives.
“I said to her ‘We’ll have a nice big cake and what about a little classical music quartet?’,” Barbara said.
“She paused for a bit and then said ‘What about a stripper?’
And so it was that Clare and the residents at Glenfield Residential Home in Wythall (“TV Room Of Dreams” – call for prices) broke up a day of pills and daytime telly by watching John Green, from Rubery, aka Scorpion, take off his sailor’s uniform and white vest. And, as luck has it, the cameras were there to record the charming moment when someone takes Clare’s hand by the wrist and uses it to smack Scorpion on the bum.
