Apple Fan Steals iPad From Terminally Teenager: Does Not Take Samsung Galaxy

by | 28th, October 2011

IN answer to the question “What would you do for an iPad?” someone took one from Jamie Knott, a 14-year-old stricken with Methylmalonic acidemia and was recovering from a kidney transplant at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

That’s the power of iPad.

The Manchester Evening News reports:

The Make A Wish Foundation donated the tablet computer to him so he could enjoy it before he loses his sight completely.

Jamie says that the iPad nut had an Asian accent and was wearing bright-coloured trousers.

The good news is that Jami has a new iPad, having had this stolen one replaced by grandstanding kind hearts at Tesco Extra in Gorton.

The better news for Apple is that a survey of gadget fans say they would only steal a Samsung Galaxy from Jamie for a dare.
