ALEX Deane is a City of London Councilman who used to be David Cameron’s chief of staff. He surveys the tents at St Paul.’s Cathedral and utters:
“I urge the self-appointed protesters to clear the site voluntarily”
Mike Pollitt, self-appointed repsonder, responds:
Whether he wants protesters to be directly elected, or envisions some form of hereditary protestership, is not clear.
It’s not as if Deane is someone important. He’s not former QPR hero Flavio Briatore (the money shot is just after 1 minute in – “I want the names of who is booing me“.):
