THE Sun’s story on Chief Inspector Mark Ling – “Top cop’s ‘race txt about Jordan son’ – begins:

A POLICE chief has been suspended amid allegations he texted colleagues a racist joke about model Jordan’s disabled son.

That’s Harvey, the true star of Katie Price’s life.

Chief Inspector Mark Ling is also said to have sent pals an explicit version of nursery rhyme Little Miss Muffet on his work BlackBerry phone.

Muffet. Jordan. Make you own jokes:

Another message, it is claimed, featured a song called “The Twelve Days of Christmas — Hastings Style”, which poked fun at the East Sussex resort where the cop was in charge of policing…. A misconduct hearing is due to take place at which Chief Insp Ling, in his 40s, could face the sack.

News of the alleged joke about Jordan’s son is set to shock locals.

The Sun’s Mike Sullivan reminds readers:

Nine-year-old Harvey is blind, autistic, has problems walking and a condition that affects his weight.

Might this be the be the same outraged Sun that emplys Frankie Boyle, the comic who mocks the disabled and offered:

“I have a theory about the reason Jordan married a cage fighter – she needed a man strong enough to stop Harvey from f***ing her…”

Shocking stuff, indeed…
