Stephen Lawrence Murder Trial: Gary Dobson And David Norris Take The Stand

ON April 22, 1993, Stephen Lawrence, 18, was stabbed to death at a bus stop in Eltham, South London by a gang of white youths. Stephen Lawrence was black. Today, “loveable rogues” Gary Dobson and David Norris stood in the Old Bailey. The charge: murder.

In Court 16, Norris and Gary “loveable rogues” Dobson stood. They spoke only to give their names.

They deny murder.

Five little white boys going in for law,

A red herring swallowed one and then there were three.

Three little white boys walking in the Zoo;

A big bear hugged one and then there were two.

Two little white boys sitting in the sun;

On got frizzled up and then there was one.
