THE endless media guff about Andre Villas-Boas being just like Jose Mourinho (well, they’re both Portugeezers; in tabloid-land that means they’re practically identical twins) is ended. Chelsea have suffered their third defeat in four league games with a 2-1 home loss to Liverpool.

Anorak’s gaze fell upon John Terry and Luis Suarez, each the centre of whirlpools of racist allegations. Both players hook hands after the game, so whatever was said – death threats, slights on them being loyal to their wives, accusations that such-and-such a player is Sepp Blatter in disguise – were made gone.
