Get Theresa May To Sort Out Duggan Shooting Inquiry Says Tottenham MP

May HOME Secretary Theresa May should take charge of the investigation into the fatal police shooting of Mark Duggan, 29, in Tottenham because of increasing concerns over how it is being handled, the local MP said today.

Tottenham MP David Lammy said there had been a “catalogue of very public errors” surrounding the investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

Two of the three community leaders appointed to oversee the IPCC inquiry had quit, claiming the investigation was “flawed and in all probability tainted”.
