Polish diplomat Witold Misiak recalled over ‘drunk’ video

by | 3rd, January 2012

WITOLD Misiak, a diplomat at the Polish Embassy in Minsk. is seen here making a play for the coveted title of most Enthusiastic East European Politician, the title many thought Boris Yeltsin had taken with him to his grave.

Witold Misiak is the Polish diplomat captured on video allegedly drunk in a Belarusian restaurant.

Reports are that Mr Misiak was so drunk he mislaid classified Foreign Ministry documents and a “special phone for voice encrypted communications” (Believe it or not, Polish is not already encrypted.)
Poland’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Marcin Bosacki says his country’s Foreign Minister, Radoslaw Sikorski, saw the video and recalled Misiak to Warsaw.

Questions surely will be asked how a Pole came to be allegedly drunk on that weak-as-water Ukrainian juice. Poland’s shame is acute…
