Did Huang Guang poison Long Liyuan with a bad cat meat stew?
LONG Liyuan was killed with a poisoned cat-meat stew. Maybe.
Long Liyuan is the billionaire who died on December 23 in what police suspect was very, very, very foul play.
Long Liyuan did in Guangdong province, A local Government agriculture official named Huang Guang has been arrested. He’s accused of spicing the cat stew with Gelsemium, a plant that when eaten brings on “sweating, nausea, muscular weakness, dilated pupils, lowered temperature, convulsions and respiratory failure”.
Long Liyuan was dining with Huang Guang. Police are working on the theory that Guang had embezzled money from lumber tycoon Liyuan. The paris rowed and then went to an eatery to discuss matters over a slow-boiled cat-meat stew.
Liyuan and Guang were accompanied by another man who survived because he did not eat much of the stew because he said is tasted “bitter”.
Long Liyuan’s family have offered $16,000 reward for information.
Cat owners may be unsympathetic…
