WE do not know the name of the Panama City, Florida teenager who dialled 911 because she had heard her 35-year-old mother having sex at home.

We do know that the teenager asked the police to house her in a Christian children’s shelter because she “heard her mother having sex”. The teen told police she “felt disrespected” by her mother’s actions.

The girl’s mother told police that she had invited her boyfriend over to spend the night. She said “their bedrooms are next to each other and she didn’t intend to wake her daughter up”.

The authorities made contact with the shelter, whose rep met with the girl. After a chat, the teen decided she would rather stay at home because “it was almost time for school”.

The Panama City Police Department duly left a domestic rights brochure at the residence. The girl can roll it into spit balls and stuff them into her ears.

The boyfriend’s reactions are not stated in the police reprot we imagine his put plans to move in are on hold…
