Costa Concordia: Is Father Massimo Donghi to blame?

by | 27th, January 2012

COSTA Concordia: Father Massimo Donghi, of Besana in Brianza, Italy, is ok. When he told his flock he was heading to a retreat he forgot to tell them that he would making the journey by luxury liner. It was Father Donghi’s dumb luck to board the Costa Concordia at Civitavecchia near Rome. When the ship ran aground off Giglio Island on January 13, Father Donghi retreated to dry land.

Says Father Donghi to the Panorama website:

“What do you want me to say? I have nothing to add. Im OK although I’m still a bit in shock. I will talk to my parishioners in church. The judgment of others is not important to me.”

Might it be that divine will caused the Costa Concordia to run aground? Add the theory to the growing list
