CELEBRITY Big Brother has been won by embarrassing, self-pitying mum Denise Welch, who beat off the challenge of bewilderingly untalented X Factor renegade Frankie Cocozza, likeable Welsh rugby player Gareth Thomas, a thong (?) of good looking women with only two settings – dull and disagreeable – Reservoir Dogs 2′s Michael Madsen, a desperate Natalie Cassidy and someone who isn’t Mark Wright from The Only Way Is Essex. All in all it was lots of telly with some terrific highlights that made us wonder why Channel 4 ever ditched it. Chuck in a bigger budget and the Big Brother could go on for ever….

no boob job in the world will change the fact that they are on a 50+ year old body, which although not fat, should really not be paraded around the media as a bit of a horrorshow….
I just re-read the article and noticed it described her as a mum – why would anyone do that to their kids? poor sods must be dying inside….

I think we are probably due for another round of those articles etc, C&C – unfortunately. I think the American actor had it spot on when he commented that she couldn’t hold her drink and it was quite obvious watching some of the footage that she can’t, at all.
I think she’s a very foolish woman with a self-destruct button, which no doubt will turn out to be as a result of childhood abuse, marriage troubles or some other excuse (see Andrea McLean last week, coincidentally just before her book launch). Apologies if I sound heartless, but a woman of her age should have learned a few lessons by now and she doesn’t seem to appreciate that people are laughing at her rather than with her…
IMO she won CBB because people were voting to see what further idiotic behaviour she would indulge in, the longer she was in there.
there’s a fine line between “party girl” and “owd slapper” – Denise seems to think she is still the former, whereas the sad fact is that she is fitting the other description very well at the moment….

Is that really Denise Welch or the drag queen alter-ego?
Hope she spends a long time in rehab so we don’t have to suffer the endless headlines and soul-baring (and boob-baring..) articles that she loves so much. How long before the ‘My Hell In The Big Brother House’ book? out in time for Christmas??
She’s just not very nice IMO.
