BEING a minority is so often about ticking mainstream boxes. Channel 4 News correspondent and PinkNews founder Benjamin Cohen has made a video about being Jewish and LGBT.
“I made this video in reaction to the ‘gay cure’ crisis in the European Jewish community over the past few weeks. I started to come out when I was 15 in 1998 shortly before I joined JFS, a Jewish school in North London.”
Sammy Davis was a one-eyed black Jew working in Hollywood. Had he been gay he might have fitted into a stereotype…
