Zayn Quits One Direction!
NOT ones to entirely mock the bereaving, Zayn Malik is absolutely and definitely quitting One Direction.
That’s right! He’s left the US tour and won’t be coming back! For a short while! Because his Auntie died! And he’s going to the funeral!
Singer Harry Styles wrote on his Twitter page:
‘Zayn has suffered a loss in his family & has had to go home for a few days so won’t be at our next shows in the US. Our thoughts are with him and his family at this sad time.’
Hands-up if you think one of the management wrote that for him? Bearing in mind that Harry Styles is more prone to crowing about the amount of ‘pussy’ that Matt Cardle was going to get when he won The X Factor.
One Direction are in the States supporting Big Time Rush who absolutely no-one has heard of, but it seems to be going well – deaths aside – as American police were forced to shut down several streets amid health and safety fears after thousands of mental fans queued to get their hands on tickets for their Chicago show, which they’d promptly ignore in favour of constant, blood-curdling screaming.
Zayn will be invariably glad of a little peace and quiet for a couple of days.
