Fabrice Muamba has never heard of Liam Stacey – Bolton player tweets his thnks

by | 31st, March 2012

FABRICE Muamba has tweeted a photos of himself sat in his hospital bed. The 23-year-old Bolton Wanderers midfielder’s message to the fans is written by his fiancée, Shauna Magunda. It reads:

“Fab wanted me to post this pic for you all and to also say thank you for such overwhelming support.”

Well, not all of you. Not Liam Stacey, the idiot whose vile racist tweets saw him snitched on by the twitter police and who now languishes in jail the recipient of a 56 days (!) sentence for offence caused.

Stacey became a face of the State and police’s desperate need to show off their anti-racist credentials, to show the slack-jawed masses how hot they are on racism. Without State intervention the white working class will see Stacey’s tweet and Liverpool player Louis Suarez’s outburst, and, so incited, go on a race riot.

It’s pathetic. What really happens is that all they can usually offer is the “dog ate my homework ” excuse of “my account was hacked”. The odious racist gets exposed and mocked, a harsh light shone on his beliefs he is forced to debate.

The rest of us didn’t even see a race issue – we just saw a young man fall to the turf at White Hart Lance and stop breathing. Thousands were genuinely affected by the site of (near) death in an unexpected place. The so-called “football family” united to show their love and hope for Muamba. There was a fair amount of mourn porn, the photo ops and comments by MPs and vested interest groups. But all in all the story was one of humanity and out ability to care for one another…

Note: Is it now ok to show photos of the stricken Muamba?
