I was an unofficial 'intern' at underground records in Manchester, 1975-77, I would operate the till, spin some awesome 45s, latest imports from Jamaica and rare singles, catalogue the stock and basically just wind and grind to the music that I got to choose to play! I was 16 yrs old, and found myself DJing every Saturday under the streets of the city centre! Happy, inspirational and unforgettable days. Ryddim, come forward....
