Ched Evans: Nine more twitter arrests brings total to 12

CHED Evans update: Police have made nine more arrests in light of the naming of the Sheffield United player’s rape victim on twitter.
Four of them are women.
This bhring the total nuymber of arrests to 12. The three men arrested last week are on police bail.
Says North Wales Police detective sergeant Bob Halford:
“We continue to be proactive in this investigation and anticipate that further arrests will be made in the near future.”
Ched Evans raped a 19-year-old woman in a hotel room in the Rhyl area of North Wales. He plans to appeal his conviction.
