THE last time we at Anorak spotted the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu was when he wrote in the Sun on Sunday Issue 1 – the cleansed News of the World. On the seventh day, the Lord had finished the Heavens, all the Earth and its creatures. He went to the newsagents and verily did read the Sun on Sunday with cup of tea and joy in his heart. The sex in the NoW was good and bad, but the SoS was wholesome and a sign of redemption. Anyhow, Senatmu was at Whitby Abbey to celebrate the birthday of the Christian Church.
