The Mystery of the headless money and other tales from Northwich

NO Northwich, Cheshire, where locals are amazed by the discovery of a “headless monkey’” in their midst. It is, says the Northwich Guardian, a “Mystery“.
Says RSPCA inspector Nadine Pengilly said: “It wasn’t a monkey, it was squirrel – it was a big fat squirrel that had been there 24 hours and started to bloat up. Vets have examined it and it’s definitely a squirrel.”
That’s Northwich for you – more nuts than bananas…
