Todd Bentley will kick out your sickness with the boot of Jesus (video)
TODD Bentley is the US-based Canadian pastor who says violence will cure the sick of disease. He says: “And I’m thinking why is the power of God not moving? And he said: Because you haven’t kicked that woman in the face.” So, he did and, “I inched closer and I went bam! And just as my boot made contact with her nose, she fell under the power of God.”
Todd Benltey has been refused entry to the UK, the Home Office has confirmed. He will not be appearing at the Portadown Christian Centre, County Armagh.
“I am deeply saddened by the recent decision of the UK government regarding my entry into the country. At this point, we are thankful to God for the support from our friends in the UK who truly love Jesus and embrace the supernatural, faith and healing. Please continue to stand with us in prayer regarding this decision and our return to the UK.”
Stand. If you can…
Note: Bentley visited the UK towards the end of 2011. There are no reports that anyone came to harm.
Richard Bartholomew writes: This is Croydon from mid-July:
Controversial pastor Todd Bentley, who was convicted of a sex attack on a seven-year-old when he was 14, is to hold a three-day event at Croydon Conference Centre, in Surrey Street, in August.
…The healing session was listed on the website of Folly’s End Community Fellowship Trust, which hires out the conference centre, and the church is mentioned on Bentley’s promotional material as a co-host, but pastor Dave Markee said this was a mistake and the church has nothing to do with the event.
In contrast to this not-quite “I know not the man”, a notice since removed from the Folly’s End website had the following:
3 Nights of Healing and Impartation with Todd Bentley
Folly’s End is delighted to have Todd Bentley here in the UK for 3 nights of supernatural healing and impartation.
The last time Todd was in the UK in December 2011, he packed 250 people into a 220 seater, and he prayed for every single person in the venue.
It was beautiful. He was so humble and vulnerable about the past, and so ready to return to ministry. He was in great form, and there were many notable healings and much deliverance. We look forward to seeing what happens this time! Be prepared and expectant! We just know that last time was the breaker for this next visit!

Bentley claims all kinds of supernatural encounters, including cosy chats with Biblical figures; Biblical scholars may be interested to learn that Bentley has solved the problem of the authorship of the Letter to the Hebrews with some inside knowledge from Saint Paul himself, whom he met while visiting the Third Heaven:
Back to Paul! I discovered while conversing with Paul that it wasn’t only Jesus Christ who taught him in heaven. I say this because Paul told me: “Abraham taught me, in heaven, and that’s how and why I wrote the book of Hebrews. What I heard was from the lips of Abraham himself.”
Bentley has also received guidance from various angels, including one named “Emma”, and helpful assistance from the “angel of finance”:
In this regard, on three occasions over the past couple of years I’ve had a visitation from the Lord in which I’ve seen the angel of finance. Every time this happens (in our meetings) there is an incredible financial breakthrough—something is opened up in heaven, it invades the earth, and people respond by giving generously.
Healings and resurrections also figure prominently, including tales of tumours dropping off the sick (this is a familiar Pentecostal claim; I’ve often wondered what happens to these tumours after the event)
