Hawking beats Magneto at London Paralympics opening ceremony (photos)

THE London 2012 Paralympic Games has opened. Professor Stephen Hawking said a few words. Seb Coe said lots of words.  Sir Ian McKellen appeared as Prospero – but better had he appeared as the X Men’s Magneto, assuring the world’s elite paralympians that they will rule the world. Hawking would then push him into the Olympic flames. A chance missed, surely…
