Chris Brown to wisely avoid Rihanna (and Drake) at awards
AFTER the news about Chris Brown and Rihanna presenting an award together at the MTV VMAs trickled out, some people were rightly miffed. For a man to appear with the woman he beat the crap out of without at least an arched eyebrow from the entire world, not to mention his deafening silence on the whole ‘saying sorry’ thing, it seems someone has whispered sweetly into that dense skull of his and given him decent advice.
Apparently, Breezy is going to avoid any confrontation with RiRi (not to mention Drake who had the world’s lamest scrap with him) at the Video Music Awards next month by not appearing… AT ALL.
A source close to Rihanna told HollywoodLife.com at the time hat the singer would be more than willing to stand on stage next to Chris: “That’s obvious. Hell yeah, she would. [There isn’t anything] she wouldn’t do for that [him]. She’d do just about anything for him.”
While a source close to Chris said: “Why wouldn’t he? It would be the first time in a long…time that he would be on stage with his boo.”
One reason why he wouldn’t is because he might actually feel a semblance of remorse while stood there and begin crying uncontrollably while he slowly picks through the boulders of his brain for the first flicker of emotion. Actually, that might be just the spectacle we all need to give this gyrating dunce some space?
However, Brown’s spokesperson has confirmed his client will not be at the Staples Centre saying, “[Chris] will not be at the VMAs in any capacity.”
