BBC panel shows are run by men for men: the numbers

THE new BBC Director General is George Entwistle. He says the Beeb needs  “more women and less bureaucracy“. Less, you know, men on panels – like the ones on Mock the Week, Would I Lie To You?, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You, QI and Big Fat Quiz Of The Year. All BBC shows that fail to feature enough women on the panels of nodding heads:

It might not all be sexism. It might just be that the BBC is controlled by men who pump out stuff that appeals to them. The BBC has had 15 Director Generals. All have been men.

It is a man’s world.
