I knew Jerry in the 80s. I also remember him saying that Jimmy Saville had two ‘minders’ who would go around threatening people.

@Gordon Chalmers It’s not my quote. Read my comment closely. Then shut your pie-hole ye great tube!

Sirbazalot, how the fuck do you work out that Roy Chubby Brown and Ricky Gervais are “comedians”? They may be copying Jerry’s style, but they’re no more funny than a sore head on a Sunday morning.

I thought Jimmy Savile threatened court action, though it was so long ago…Like most of you, I wish he was back on TV too. Think he’s burned too many bridges.
Bloody hate Frankie Boyle, though. Luckily, so does Jerry.

If the BBC ever investigate Saville they will most likely suppress the report , as they did with the BBC report over its bias against Israel.
Andrew Marr, its star talent, has said that: “The BBC is not impartial or neutral. It’s a publicly funded, urban organisation with an abnormally large number of young people, ethnic minorities and gay people.” He was not sacked. And Mark Thompson, the outgoing director general, has admitted that, in the past, there was “a massive bias to the Left”.

all thoroughly unpleasant people, including Roy Chubby Brown who may well predate Sadowitz, having been spewing his own bile for at least 30 years. ( I knew his accountant!)

Jerry is a sad old witch. “Comedians who now use his style of humour include, Frankie Boyle, Jim Jeffries, Jimmy Carr, Roy Chubby Brown and Ricky Gervais. Speaking on his “imitators”, he said that “I’m sorry I’ve given some very nasty people a good living.” From James Kettle The Guardian, Wednesday 9 November 2011
I loved the way you hit that Canadian’s fist with your face at Montreal Comedy Festival, after saying Hello Moose Fuckers.
Please bring out that DVD from Leicester Square Theater.
Fu?@ing brilliant show. Heads up!

Sadowitz’s hit 1987 Edinburgh Fringe show Total Abuse, was filmed at the Bloomsbury Theatre and is still a best seller twenty years after its release. It was also turned into the album Gobshite, but was soon withdrawn due to fears it may have libeled Jimmy Savile (wiki)

I’d like to hear Mr. Sadowitz’s opinion on Matthew Woods being sent to prison for posting an offensive comment.

Is it true that Jerry Sadovitz’s album Gobshite was withdrwn for fear of it libelling the esteemed Sir Jimmy Saville? ..if so maybe now is a good time to re-release it…. the B.B.C. should add it to their playlist..
