"The Tory Party Paedo Ring is based on the claims of one Steven Messham" - not sure that's strictly true.

The scallywag magazine output that underlies these claims cites at least two care-home victims who independently pointed to tory connections in connection with their abuse away from the home. Not that these allegations are necessarily true, but at least one of those was not Steven Messham, right?

Also worth noting, Watson's original mention of a no. 10 aide was referring to evidence in a different case. So also unconnected to Mr Messham

Philip Schofield has done himself no favours at all with his crass attempt at sensationalism - I have no idea whether that came out of a genuine, but stupid and ill-thought-out attempt to put the PM on the spot or a desire to seem a little more "edgy" and gain more personal publicity in the process. Whatever the reasoning behind it and however genuine and concerned he may be about the issue, by doing what he did on This Morning he only succeeded in trivialising it - which is something which absolutely should never happen when people's lives and terrible past experiences are being held up to the light for all to see and dissect.
It must be hard enough for the victims to summon the courage to tell someone about their experiences, without somebody like Schofield jumping in with a silly stunt which achieved nothing except derision.

The relationship between politicians, the police, and the media, was exposed in all its gaudy elitist narciscism, by the phone hacking scandal. This "unholy trinity" makes it possible for people in high places to commit obscene crimes and get away with it.

There is something seriously wrong when newspaper editors, such as Miss Brooks, have dinner with the PM and talk of "working together". The police are supposed to uphold the law, not be chummy with tabloid hacks. The job of journalists is to speak truth to power, not have lunch with it.

Schofield at least deserves credit for not being chummy with Dave, as too many people in the media are.
Certainly, one of the listed individuals has been evasive on the subject of allowing Savile into broadmoor, and has questions to answer.
