Grist.org and Daily Express compete to write biggest bullshit weather story
GRIST has news to amaze:
If you’re 27 or younger, you’ve never experienced a colder-than-average month … If you were born in or after April 1985, if you are right now 27 years old or younger, you have never lived through a month that was colder than average. That’s beyond astonishing.
Too bloody right it is. But, then, how can Grist and the Daily Express both be right? And as the BBC said last year:
Last month was the coldest December documented for the UK since nationwide records began 100 years ago, the Met Office has confirmed.
Such are the facts…

Oh dear. Looks like someone needs to start keeping tabs on Anorak’s tabloid style fact confusion. Are you seriously using a UK Met Office statement on UK temperatures to question NOAA data on global average surface temperatures? If so I suggest you apply for a position at the Mail or Telegraph pdq!
