BY now you’ll be wondering what David Beckham, his wife and family have been up to? Well, they’ve been living in America. Day-vid’s been playing for the Los Angeles Galaxy. They’re a football team, or Major League Soccer team as he calls them (see contract). The Galaxy have just beaten the Houston Dynamo at the Home Depot Center. The winning team’s photo features a few faces surrounding the winning quartet of Dave, Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo, without whom none of it could have been possible. Vicky remains thin. Says one US football convert and hardcore Galaxian: “Isn’t the goalkeeper offside?”
